In a poor city in a poor country on a poor continent, there is a group of people with a singular purpose: to look rich.
Or, rather, to look good — and to fully embody the suave, elegant style that a wardrobe of three-piece suits, silk socks, fedoras and canes might suggest.
They are called sapeurs or members of the Societe des Ambianceurs et des Personnes Elegantes (the Society of Tastemakers and Elegant People). And when they go out, they turn the streets of Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of the Congo, into a fashion runway.

Anonymous asked: Congrats on your wedding! You looked gorgeous! My question is how and when did you know that your new hubby was the one. I'm currently 26 and I'm nervous that I won't find the one.
oh I’m so sorry I’m just seeing this!!! I knew he was the one when he knew everything about me (the good, the bad and very ugly) and loved (accepted me) anyway. Vice versa. Lol
Don’t be nervous. It all happens when it’s supposed to happen. I was 30 lolthe universe can fit inside my b r o k e n heart: Letters From the Rose Garden
So in a letter to director Gary Ross disecting President Snow, Donald Sutherland(AKA President Snow) said
“Power. That’s what this is about? Yes? Power and the forces that are manipulated by the powerful men and bureaucracies trying to maintain control and possession of that power?
Power…
Wow.

My Pastor’s wife (my cousin) said it best…
“Ok, I have to say something. I am COMPELLED to say something! Adultery can happen to any couple. It can happen to Dietrick and Damita Haddon, and it can happen to Jennifer and Puck. It doesn’t just happen to people who have never had a connection with Jesus Christ. It doesn’t just happen to people who weren’t joined together by God. In fact, the devil is after strong couples even more!!! So what can we learn from this latest scandal in the gospel world? We’ve got to put our armor on! We have got to build walls of protection. We’ve got to build hedges. Spending time with Jesus Christ is a given. But we have to spend time WITH EACH OTHER also! Last week’s date night doesn’t work for this week. You have got to stay connected. Spend 15 minutes a day, 1 night a week, 1 weekend a month, and 1 week a year staying connected. There should not be ANYONE of the opposite sex that is spending more quality time with your spouse than you are. Don’t let that happen!!! Get an accountability partner. Do whatever it takes to build up hedges of protection; especially if your career causes you to travel. Another thing: have plenty of sex. (Yes, I said it!) Don’t let 72 hours go by without having it!!! Let’s build a wall!”
I’d love a poster of this to put in my bedroom! To help motivate me when I wake up to push myself and take advantage of the day!
Truth.
ok Bey!
